| Founded
in 1985, Janus Galleries started like many galleries, when two
passionate and addicted collectors (and husband and wife) ran out of
wall space! Our collection has grown to over 1000 works from the 19th
and 20th centuries, in American, European and Russian
Schools. Roughly three quarters of our inventory represents deceased
artists, ranging from impressionists, regionalists, Hudson River School,
Cape Ann/Rockport artists and other noted American and Continental
categories. In the last five years, at the request of our corporate and
contemporary collectors and clients, we have carefully developed a
wonderful inventory of late 20th century paintings and works
on paper, from bold and hip urban scenes, to outstanding examples of

We have so enjoyed building our gallery over the last 15 years, and
have made countless friends on both sides of the business, clients and

We are known for providing value for high quality artwork at affordable

Some of the services we provide
our local clients are delivery, installation and advice on
lighting. How to properly care for your fine artwork is something
provided to all clients. We also will provide appraisals for works you
purchase.
